While the life coaches are slowly moving from helping you on your quest of self-actualisation to helping other life coaches create online courses, training people to become life coaches, we are fast approaching a time where the space holders will outnumber the space seekers… While there are still some people to hold space for, maybe there is still some time to inquire what this work actually entails. What does it mean to hold space for others? Is it a job anybody can do? What is the skill set required for this? If you are searching for well held spaces, possibly you might wonder how to determine whether your local space holder is up to the task. Am 29. September werden anlässlich des Release der Hörspielserie DESIRE und ihres Soundtracks LGBTQIA+ Sexarbeiter*innen gefeiert. Mit Performances von: Aka Kelzz, Alice Danger, Antonio Herrera, Bendix, Breezy, Bunny B. Blaq, Caxxianne, Elio Coulibaly, Emilian, Kumi, Lexi Dark, Puck Ellington und Sanni Est. Der Eintritt zu diesem Abend basiert auf freien Spenden und alle Einnahmen gehen vollständig an Sex Worker Organisationen. DESIRE ist die Fortsetzung der Ausstellung EXISTING AND LONGING (2022) – einem intimen Portrait von über 30 queeren Sexarbeiter*innen aus 14 verschiedenen Ländern, die in deutschen Großstädten in unterschiedlichen Bereichen der Sexindustrie arbeiten. Sowohl die Hörspielserie als auch der Soundtrack laden Außenstehende ein, in die Welt von LGBTQIA+ Sexarbeiter*innen einzutauchen, Stimmen zu hören, die allzu oft ungehört bleiben, und eigene Annahmen über Sexarbeit und Queerness zu hinterfragen.
